Woman receptionist extremely patronising. Vet didn't tell you anything about your pet, put it on the computer and that was that, but they told you how much the bill was though. Past visit was Richard and he is good

I have previously written a review and oh my goodness was I wrong…. I have been lied to, shouted at told that ‘it is all in your head’ please please stay away from this toxic place. First of all they all lie about the positions they hold. Kayleigh, Arbroath told me she was the practice manager, Not True, Kaleigh then told my insurance company she was a vet, Not True, she signed a form saying she was the receptionist, True… Some one called Angie told me she was a Director, then changed that title to director of the practice then changed that to receptionist. I’m, quite frankly lost. My vet turned out to be a nurse. This is a joke. My insurance company are totally shocked by this behavior and informed me that my claim was refused because one of the ‘receptionist’ signed my claim off as being the actual veterinary surgeons fault that my cat suffered a hernia following a routine spaying as the hernia was a result of the spaying procedure, yes, you guessed it Kayleigh again. I am £690.00 out of pocket, money I had to borrow at Christmas to pay for this. Because of Abbey vets ridiculous handling of the whole situation Cats protection league paid for the spaying because I couldn’t afford it and then because of abbey vets incompetence my claim was denied. Turns out I’ve never actually set eyes on an actual vet, and if I have how do I know, who can I trust the vet I saw turned out to be a nurse I don’t know what else to say but please do NOT trust this vet or their counterpart in Arbroath as it’s them that call me to pretend to be directors, vet’s, surgeons or practice managers. You will lose money and it really isn’t worth it.

Lovely friendly practice. Relaxed atmosphere and easy to access with parking. The staff are lovely and most importantly knowledgeable. Great attention to detail. Would highly recommend as is less daunting than the large hospital like veterinary practices for the pets.
