About

Aldgate Veterinary Practice is a mixed practice in East Yorkshire, treating pets, farm animals and horses from sites in Driffield and Bridlington. Its roots date back to the 1940s through the first two veterinary practices established in Driffield.

The practice describes itself as the only remaining independent, non-corporate practice in its area. It employs 16 vets, holds RCVS Small Animal General Practice accreditation and ISFM Gold Cat Friendly Clinic status. Directors Lucy Butler and Giles Moore maintain active clinical roles. A 24-hour call-out service operates across all species.

Excellent. The vet we saw was knowledgable & a good communicator. We needed an urgent appointment out of hours & it was easy to book. The vet gave us several treatment options and gave us time to discuss the best one for our very elderly cat. Much appreciated the advice given.

Wonderful in an urgent situation on New Year’s Eve. Thanks to Vet Russell and follow up vet on New Year’s Day (not sure of her name) and all the staff on duty. What I appreciated most was the speed with which my urgent appointment was handled.

Excellent care for our three Wire Fox Terriers. Thank you Giles. A pleasure to meet you yesterday. What I appreciated most is the fact that Giles had time for us, and did not rush in any way. After all, we always have lots of questions for the Vet!
