About

Alphavet Kinross is part of the Inglis Vets network under Independent Vetcare, with surgeries across Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath, Alloa, Inverkeithing, Kirkcaldy, Corstorphine, Kinross, and Polbeth. The group has been treating pets in Scotland for over 50 years and covers small animals and exotics.

The Dunfermline site includes an RCVS accredited hospital and what the group describes as the first dedicated health and wellbeing centre for pets in the UK. Visiting specialists supplement the in-house veterinary and nursing team.

Have used Alpha vet for many years. Staff are excellent. All the staff are genuinely caring, I experienced this with my dog Finn, staff were excellent and very caring for his end of life. I had no hesitation to stay with the same vet practice with my new dogs.

Very impressed and reassured with the expertise and kindness of the clinic. And especially delighted by the greyhound savviness - which I think is a good sign, even if you don’t own a pet with such atypical characteristics. And, after living in the US for a while, we were very pleasantly surprised by their interest in saving us money - and being patient and pragmatic with our elderly hound.

Having tried the other vet in this area previously there is no comparison on who to choose or recommend for their caring & understanding of my 2 Komondors needs.Emma made them feel at ease they showed no anxiety or felt scared, I wasn’t rushed during consultation which was important to me her professionalism was exceptional I would recommend this to practice as my first choice to everyone in the area.
