We requested a visit for our 13.5yrs labradorite retriever who was struggling a bit. The vet and nurse came. The vet rang us first to determine what to bring with her and then they rang with a more accurate time of arrival. They introduced themselves and were so friendly and relaxing. They were especially sympathetic with Dan and showed him every care and affection. The vet gave a thorough examination and took some bloods which she rang us with the results. She explained everything and gave him a injection and us some medication for him before leaving. 100% perfection.

The receptionist is very welcoming and friendly. I used the vets in Pontefract. The vet as lovely and gave my shih-tzu an overall health check. She had a gentle demeanour with my dog and made the whole experience a good one. My dog had her annual injection, which was carried out with the utmost professionalism. I would highly recommend the practice as the team are very supportive and attentive.

Annual visit with my fur babies for vaccinations. Always stressful for them and me. The fact that there is dedicated parking here is a bonus but it’s limited and not designed for big cars. Development on Hirsefair made it more difficult to find anywhere near. Latest appointment meant we had the waiting room to ourselves which is always good. Usual growling and barking from my girls disturbed no one else thankfully. Vet was welcoming and calm in the face of two small untrusting hounds. It may be that they’re getting better at trusting people but I tend to think it was her approach that meant both were calmly examined and received the vaccination without protest. They even accepted treats which is quite unusual when they’re in unfamiliar territory. No one tried to sell me anything , the vet was positive and understanding of my concerns That’s the sort of vet visit I always appreciate.
