Our cat was poorly recently and their care was excellent. It is so hard to know what is best for pets and I felt that Sarah listened to my concerns, thoroughly examined him and we made a plan together of what was best for him. When he deteriorated a few days later she saw him again promptly, and thankfully now he is back to his usual self. I did not feel pressured into paying for tests, investigations or medication. We had bloods taken on the second visit and results were very swift and he did not seem distressed from this. Very grateful to have had this positive experience, and would not hesitate to recommend your clinic to family & friends. Will continue to use Ely for our pets as it feels like a vets and not a business, which is how it should be.

Awful experience and massive regret choosing this clinic. Before booking, I repeatedly asked if the rabies booster would be valid for 3 years - they assured me it would. Another vet had already offered the same 3-year vaccine for the same price, but I chose this clinic only because they were closer. After the jab, they entered it as valid for just 1 year, directly contradicting what they promised and what EU law recognises - while still charging the same price. They also gave us FALSE information about travel rules, claiming a signed invoice would be enough to cross the border into the EU. Thankfully, we checked with border control and found out this was completely untrue. Their ignorance and lack of knowledge could easily have landed our dog in quarantine abroad for three weeks and cost us thousands. When confronted, they tried to charge nearly triple the normal price for the certificate that is actually required. Dishonest, unprofessional, and unsafe. Avoid at all costs. Felt like a con.

Amazing vets practice and also the incredible care they have for wildlife. Nothing is too much effort for them and numerous times they have helped me with wildlife and are not the typical put to sleep vet they actually try their best not to! Couldn't recommend them more.
