Having used Corner House Equine vets for almost 18 months now,I have been very happy with all staff and being able to book an appointment when it was convenient for me. I am very happy with the service so far and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. 😊

Been with Corner House for 25 years always had a good experience with them till recently - I asked for a 'zone day' as it's cheaper day for your area visit & for a 'dentist' to have a look at my 32yr old ponys mouth (bearing in mind I can't see in my horse's mouth so if I ask for a dentist I expect someone to come who can do the job) my pony has to be sedated - the lady vet checked his mouth & managed to get one tooth that was loose out but he also had another tooth that was loose ""but she didn't have the right tool"'' basically a pair of plyers called a tooth extractor tool & I would need to rearrange another visit with the dentist vet (I had asked for a dentist on my 1st visit) so a week later or so i had booked in with the dentist man vet as I was worried if the tooth was causing him problems whome when he came I expressed wasn't happy as this could have been done in one visit for my elderly pony to save him being sedated twice in a matter of a month but as she didn't have the right tool - to his reply was "'she keeps booking me in for these loose tooths lately"' upon this visit it was quite concerning as he sedated him & my pony dropped to the floor head first with his rear end going the wrong way to snap his kneck while i had his head the vet had to push his bottom end back over causing his hips to hit the ground :( the video footage isn't nice of this he was down for half a hour - my first visit was £137 & my second was £197 so all of this could have been avoided if I was sent the correct dentist on the first visit seems it's a money thing - as the 2nd vet put the plyers on wobbled it from side to side about 10 times an it came out so nothing more I think that the first vet shouldn't have been able to do if she had the correct tool - I could understand if he had a abscess or a root that was blocking the tooth from coming out an he needed abit more of someone who was trained in dentistry but there nothing more manly that she couldn't do that he did they told me all she does is rasp teeth but why send a vet who can't perform a simple tooth pull I'm really disappointed in this the way it's been delt with Jane the office manager seemed to care nothing little of what I was saying till I said I just want to pay and I won't be using them again ££££ comes to mind! I just feel annoyed they shouldn't do a zone day rasp of teeth just send the proper person if I asked for a dentist - my pony had to be sedated twice - I had to pay double - & lost 2 days instead of one at work when if they just said you can't have a dentist on a zone day I would have just had the one visit & all would have been handled that day!

Used corner house for years. I wanted to leave a review as I have had Jen come out to see my horse today for vaccines and dental and she is honestly the best vet I have had see to squeak. She was understanding, calming and patient. She didn’t sedate him for the sake of it and she was just truly a lovely person. 10/10 recommend Jen - thank you so much! Squeak loves you! 🐴 xx
