About

The practice holds Cat Friendly Clinic accreditation and treats dogs, cats, rabbits, and small mammals, with services spanning dental care, cardiology, orthopaedics, physiotherapy, and exotic animal medicine.

I wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary clinic. My dog Lulu used to have an aversion to strangers, which made vet visits quite challenging. Thanks to the patience, empathy, and professional approach of the entire team, Lulu gradually began to feel safer, and her attitude has significantly improved. The veterinarian showed great understanding and calmness, which made the examination smooth and stress-free. Special thanks also go to the ladies at the reception – they are incredibly kind, understanding, and always ready to help. This is a place where animals are truly cared for, and pet owners can feel confident that their companions are in good hands. Thank you to the entire team – I highly recommend this clinic to all pet owners.

This is the first bad review I have ever left. After moving from a different town I decided to join Daventry vets based on the positive reviews. However, this practice is dishonest in order for financial gain. My dog has a skin allergy and needs ongoing medication. I have taken him here more than once, and on both occasions I have been sat waiting past my appointment time despite the fact that both rooms were noticeably free. Although annoying, I would usually only see this as a minor inconvenience. However, as mentioned above, this practice is willing to lie on legalities in order to gain from their clients financially. I went in one afternoon to get a repeat prescription - the lady on reception firstly kept looking at me as if I was an inconvenience by being there (before we had even spoken). When she gave me the prediction, I asked her is 3 months was the maximum they could give. She told me it was ILLEGAL To provide more than 3 months on a repeat, therefore Simba would need to visit every 3 months going forward. And not only do you pay for the fee to see the vet once a month, but they also charge you £20 send you the prescription. After googling this, I only saw a limit of 6 months so decided to go another vet. My new vet is not only happy to give a 6 month prescription, but does also does not charge me £20 to be able to receive my prescription. As much as I appreciate businesses need to make money, it is concerning that this practice is happy to use provide incorrect information for financial gain.
