About

Dignity Vets is an independent veterinary service in Manchester providing home-based end-of-life care for pets. The practice specialises in at-home euthanasia and end-of-life consultations, allowing animals to remain in familiar surroundings during their final moments.

The service uses a two-step euthanasia process designed to keep the experience as calm and peaceful as possible for the animal. Cremation arrangements can also be made through the practice. By operating as a home-visiting service, Dignity Vets removes the need for a potentially stressful journey to a clinic.

James was very caring when he came to euthanas my mum's dog Dave, he was gentle with Dave and explained to my mum how he understood that our pets are family , he also explained to my mum that Dave would be pain free and go off to sleep painlessly thank you for being so compassionate and caring with my mum and Dave

Our beloved dog Buddy was diagnosed with liver cancer and deteriorated very quickly. We sadly had to make the awful decision to let him go and contacted James to help us. James was very kind over the phone, explaining everything whilst being very understanding. He came to our house and was really lovely with us and Buddy. He helped make what was an awful situation a little bit better with his compassion.

It's taken a while to be able to write a review, but it was important that I did. James supported me in the final moments of my dog's lives. Bella and Beau were my world, and lived the most amazing long happy lives together by my side. Saying goodbye to them was one of the most difficult moments of my life, but James's support and guidance helped more than I could possibly say. He was kind, caring, compassionate and patient. He brought such a sense of peace and calm to a very sad situation. I am externally grateful to him for allowing my dogs to pass peacefully by my side with grace and dignity.
