About

Downland Veterinary Group's Denmead branch, near Waterlooville, is part of a twelve-clinic small animal practice spanning Hampshire and West Sussex within the IVC Evidensia network. The group was established in Chichester in 1946. Services include vaccination, surgery, nutrition guidance and pet passport provision.

The practice began as a mixed farm and equine operation but shifted entirely to small animal work over the past two decades. Out-of-hours emergencies are managed through a referral arrangement with Vets Now at the group's Hilsea site.

This practice is everything you want from your vets. The warm welcome at the desk, the cleanliness of the reception to the gentleness of the practioner whilst dealing with my cat. Everything was explained well and clearly, as was advice .

Lovely vets. Called up as Rabbit wasn't well, was in there quickly, which is important with rabbits. Vet gave him a a thorough check, diagnosis, pain relief and meds . He is now bouncing around as normal.
