My first time visiting Downton vets, normally my wife takes the cats. I was given a kitten for my birthday and took her down. All of the team were very friendly and fitted me in with a time that suited me. Cookie was very relaxed and didn't get stressed. Great team of caring people and very professional. Thank you ❤️

Robert and his nurse and team were fantastic! They really showed care and concern for my Frankie… Frankie had the best treatment ever… and love for my dear boy…I have dealt with so many vets in my time… and Robert was the kindest.:. Don’t believe otherwise..

This must be the worst veterinary practice I've ever been to. My cat had a severe respiratory infection. We had an appointment but we're kept waiting for one hour in a reception with barking dogs. Our cat was terrified. We eventually saw the vet who couldn't give the cat a penicillin injection or tablets as there was no sterilised water for the tablets or penicillin to inject. The bill was 100£ for this fiasco. The cat would not take the tablets when crushed and put in his food. The next day, he was worse, so we took him to another vet who immediately gave him penicillin and kept him for 24hrs on a drip and observation. Our cat would have died should we not have done this. Do not use this veterinarians, they are totally incompetent.
