About

East End Vets is an independent small animal practice on Duke Street in the Parkhead area of Glasgow's East End. The practice treats dogs, cats, rabbits, and exotic pets, offering surgery, cardiology, and a pet health plan. It is led by a clinical director who has been one of the longest-serving vets in the East End of Glasgow.

The practice opened in a new purpose-built surgery and operates independently of corporate veterinary groups. It positions itself as a community-focused operation within Glasgow's East End, offering bespoke treatment plans tailored to individual animals rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

I moved here a few years ago with my 3 animals. One of my dogs is reactive and not your usual ‘pet dog’ but Dave and the team do everything to make her visits a positive experience and with as little stress to her. I have spent tens of thousands on vet bills with a previous vet and dog so I’m acutely aware of some vet pricing and over doctoring as I would call it. Now with my experiences and long animal ownership I always make sure I know all the options and never feel uncomfortable if I want to question. They are always honest and upfront about treatment, alternatives and costs. Nothing but positive experiences here and I recommend them regularly.

We registered our dog at East End Vet Clinic shortly after it was opened. We actually moved here from different one because of location and Dave's reputation and never regret our decision. I love these people, all of them, they work, empathy, attitude... you name it. Help Sasha always gets here is highly appreciated and we actually grateful they there for us ❤️
