About

Eastcott Vets Bath Road Clinic is a Linnaeus-owned small animal practice in Swindon, one of three branches in the Eastcott network. It provides first-opinion veterinary services including consultations, vaccinations, dental care, and surgery for dogs, cats, and exotic species. The practice also holds Cat Friendly Clinic accreditation.

Established in the 1960s on Eastcott Hill, the practice relocated to Bath Road in 1997 and gained Veterinary Hospital accreditation at that time. It won the Petplan Veterinary Practice of the Year award in both 2001 and 2012, making it the only UK practice to have received that honour twice.

Awful vets. Emma Hobbe the vet letting an animal leave in pain due to an infection without antibiotics. Went and got a 2nd opinion at a different vets and they instantly gave antibiotics. Also Eastcott vets dont write down on file what they tell you and in fact put something completely different to what they tell you. I was told to come back in 3 to 4 weeks but the notes said on system 48 hours? I was lucky that I called up because I knew my cat wasnt right and needed antibiotics. This place is awful avoid at all costs. They're just in it for the money completely. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Very friendly and professional practice. Felt my little dog was in safe hands and they genuinely cared. Recommend ☺️

I made a huge error joining this vet. I thought they would act with care and consideration towards my pet, but it turns out that I was entirely wrong. They don’t care. They simply do not care about the health of my animal. It seems that I’m not the only one, reading through the reviews on TrustPilot. Every time I speak to them about my dog, I have to explain every single part of his medical history three or four times in order to get the treatment he requires. His medical history spans nine years - more than half of which has been at this vet surgery. I am frequently asked questions the answers to which are in the notes. Zero preparation, zero care, zero continuity or consistency of care - and when I asked for a meeting with the Hospital Director to voice my concerns, I was told they are on ‘extended leave’ and it’s not possible. It has been suggested to me by both veterinary staff and admin staff that if I don’t like the way they work, that I should find another vet. That’s exactly what I’m doing today. I am having to take my ten year old dog to a new vet because his treatment is not important here. I urge you and implore you, please take your pet’s health and your business elsewhere. In no way has Eastcott Vets shown the required care or compassion towards my dog that they should.
