From the moment I made contact on the phone I was met with an empathetic ear and reassurance. My dog was seen on 24th February by Jane Ladlow..Jane was amazing and we talked about what needed to be done and the complexity of the operation. My Leo was operated on the next day. I was updated twice daily which was so important to me.This operation was major as he had a tumour on his larynx that was blocking his airway. I was overwhelmed by how lovingly Leo was treated. Leo didn't want to eat (he's not food orientated even when he's well) so they took the time and patience to tempt him with different foods. I would absolutely recommend Granta. Everyone in there was so accommodating and truly cared about Leo and my feelings. Jane is hugely skilled and hugely caring. Thankyou everyone. You all played a huge part in my Leo's treatment from the moment we stepped through the doors to leaving .We will be back soon for his results.

I wish I could give Granta 1000 stars. I brought my cat, Orlando, to Granta for a PU surgery (perineal urethrostomy) after a series of repeated urinary blockages. I was so averse to surgical intervention, but now I wish I'd done it sooner — I could have spared us both so much pain and suffering! The surgery was performed by Alberto Sesana, who was kind, caring, and extremely skillful in his work. I had seen in the reviews of Granta some criticism to the effect that it's hard to reach the surgeons, that they don't do callbacks as promptly as some reviewers would like. But I felt completely supported by the team: I think I sent them a photo of Orlando's wound almost every day, and received emails from Jane or Alberto late into the night answering my questions and addressing my concerns. When I had to bring Orlando in to have the wound checked — he had had some bloody discharge, which in the end was completely normal — I wasn't charged for the visit. If your call isn't answered immediately, it's worth remembering that this is because the surgery is good at triaging patient care and needs: if your problem could be truly urgent, they will get to you immediately. I experienced this first hand. In the end, Orlando has healed beautifully, and now, twelve weeks out, I'm realizing that our troubles and blockages are behind us. Orlando pees easily and frequently, like he did before all his problems started. He's become less anxious, because he's less uncomfortable. He's like the kitten he used to be, because he's no longer in pain. Having Granta do his surgery, knowing he was in such capable and brilliant hands, was worth every penny. They've given me and Orlando our lives back.

We have taken both our 4month old puppy and 9 year old dog to granta for two separate issues and I cannot fault them and thank them enough for everything they have done for both my dogs. I know they are in the best hands there and don’t have to worry and the work they do is incredible. From reception right through to all the vets and nurses I can’t thank you enough for taking such good care and fixing both Hugo and Ralph! We hope to not be back (in the nicest way possible) but if we are we also know they will do everything to help!
