We booked and paid for an AHC with Hallmark and had a collection date from Exeter a day before heading to France. We were meant to receive a confirmation email to acknowledge that our paperwork was in order, this never arrived. We also got two close but different addresses for our appointment collecting the AHC. We should have read the warning signs and to no suprise, the vet never showed up. Despite calling, no one answered the phone so we left voicemails but we never heard back from Hallmark. We had to act very quickly to find an alternative vet, luckily another company, AHC Prime, was able to fit us in at very short notice. When we finally got through to Hallmark (the next day) we explained our situation and they said the vet had missed the appointment on the calendar. They did apologise and we requested a refund which we finally got today. We wish we could’ve saved ourselves the stress and travelling time in going to Exeter with no results, last thing someone needs before heading out the country with a pet on a weekend.

In what is quite a confusing world of AHC, Hallmark made it easy. After finding them on-line and submitting relevant information I quickly got an email from Diego confirming he would be looking after the application. As I was travelling in a few months Diego said he would wait. However, I’m a bit anxious about these kind of things so asked if he wouldn’t mind looking at it to double check I had the correct information. Diego got back to me within a day confirming all was ok, which was brilliant. Appointment on the day was great, very easy and sorted out in 10 minutes. Thank you for your help!
