About

Haven Veterinary Group's Hull branch is a mixed practice treating companion animals, horses and farm livestock across East Hull and the surrounding area. It operates within the VetPartners network alongside a second branch in Hedon.

Founded in 1907 in Patrington, the group is one of the longer-established veterinary practices in the Hull area. It retains a number of long-serving team members and multi-generational client relationships. Alongside the two fixed surgeries, the group provides ambulatory equine and farm animal veterinary services throughout the region.

I do not find this place very professional, i dont understand why they would give very strong steroids/antibiotics without doing any type of blood work first. I asked for a full medical record for my dog. On Thursday Night i took my dog for an appointment they send me home the same night with my dog and told me to come back the next morning to do a blood test. The medical record i received on Friday night clearly states from the notes of the vet suspected kidney issues or very contagious virus that can spread onto other animals and humans. Why in the right mind would the vet not tell me how serious the situation was? I could of took him straight to the emergency night care, it's Saturday night now and im home without my best friend that passed away with kidney failure. All i can think about is what if i knew and we acted sooner.

I’ve never written a bad review before, but I feel this needs to be said. My dog has a high temperament and does not cope well with new people or repeated handling. I made this very clear. I was assured multiple times that he could go onto a rolling “as and when needed” subscription for his ear treatment so that we wouldn’t have to keep bringing him in and causing unnecessary stress. He was sedated for allergy testing and a full ear check. The results showed some allergies. I was told that if his issues were allergy-related, which they are, he could be treated as needed rather than being required to attend frequent appointments. Despite this, the practice continues to insist on seeing him in person regularly. Given what was previously promised, this feels inconsistent and, frankly, financially motivated rather than focused on his wellbeing. Sedation and repeated visits are not small matters for an anxious dog. I trusted the advice I was given, and it’s disappointing to feel that those assurances have not been honoured.

Came in 29th Dec 2025 for 1st injection and flea/worming. From the receptionist to the actual vet, I couldn't have been more pleased. The receptionist were very friendly and very knowledgeable. The vet was kind and very gentle with our puppy. He gave her the injection without any fuss from Lily. Thank you
