  We needed to access a vet whilst visiting family in the area for our 9 year old dog - our normal vets had given us an incorrect prescription for antibiotics for our dog who had been attacked a few days ago. The vet at Hawksdown could not have been more helpful, and we were able to get a prescription emailed which we then collected on a Saturday morning. Great to know this fantastic practice is here if we ever needed it in the future, and if we lived in the area we would happily have this as our regular surgery. Thank you!

  I would never take any of my animals anywhere else. John, the vet is wonderful and has cared brilliantly for Mabel,my rather complex cats needs for the past 3.6 years. He’s always at the end of a phone for reassurance and will see me quickly if it’s really necessary. I like the fact that he’s direct, with a good sense of humour and he’s never tried to sell me lots of expensive drugs and treatments. It’s a pleasure to see a proper ‘old school’ vet with years of experience who knows what’s what.

  We are new to the surgery and I was worried about one of my cats but my mind was put at ease with fantastic advice and care, would deffinatly recommend this surgery. Fantastic
