EDITED TO ADD UPDATE. My mums macaw sadly passed away in her arms 6 days after his visit to Jubilee vets. They wasted 2 days of his life when GEORGIA should have put him straight on to oxygen. But instead gave him a stupid 12 hour antibiotic shot. So well done Georgia on your stellar job of not acting correctly, a macaw is supposed to live 60+ years. My mums bird was never ill in the 18 years he was alive and he visited Michael all those years. Georgia takes over, does his beak trimming and all of a sudden he is ill weeks later. Birds mask illness, so he was ill for god knows how long before he presented with symptoms, as a vet, oxygen should have been the first port of call for respiratory issues. Now my mum has to look at a box with his ashes. Thanks again Don't bother bringing anything other than a cat or dog here. Looked over my mums parrot, gave him an antibiotic shot that only lasts 12 hours , took a very unclear xray with his wings in the way and sent him home, £200 later. 2 days later he collapsed and is now in an oxygen tank with another vets, which should have been done with jubilee, should have been given oxygen immediately, and as a vets they should know respiratory issues and birds do not go well. Honestly not surprised as they all seem to be interested in money and money alone. Disgusted in the way they have handled this. It was good when Michael was there to specifically look after him as they have had their macaw for 18 years and never any issues until now.

Great vets, friendly and helpful staff. Had ongoing health issues with a tortoise I adopted for over a year and this vet helped me get to the bottom of it and sorted a treatment plan where previous ones could not. I'm extremely greatful and would recommend to other reptile owners.

positive experiences with dogs and cats, however i do not recommend going for exotic vets. was told my snake (who was very badly injured with an internal spinal injury) would be seeing an exotic vet last week, however was not in when i arrived (could’ve phoned and let me know) , when being seen by standard vet he was picked up, and his limp half quite literally flicked ?? so he was dangling and his limp part swinging(could’ve injured him further) and very dismissively said “well that’s not good”. he got an x ray and messages were passed on to jubilee’s so called exotic vet. the next day, i received a phone call from the “exotic” vet who had not consulted or seen my snake, who cold heartedly said to have him euthanised, as he was “immobile” very much not true i immediately went to ring another exotic vet for a second opinion, and jubilee sent over x ray’s. the vet i then saw immediately rejected the idea that he was paralysed, or that his spinal cord was severed (as he clearly had control over movement in his tail) however couldn’t properly diagnose the internal injury as the x ray file was not good enough. he expressed his concern that Jubilee had not immediately given my snake a course of antibiotics (for external injuries), instead a singular dose, only when i asked myself, and by the next day was encouraging putting him down. hopefully there is a healthy future for my snake, as i have been told by multiple other opinions that there is hope for him. however the neglect and dismissiveness from Jubilee’s exotic department may have hindered his recovery. once again this is soley in terms of exotic vets, i have had positive experiences when taking my dog/cats here.
