All the staff are very professional and friendly. I have regular reminders for when vaccination, and flea and worm treatments are due. Appointments are readily available. The vet prescribed medication for my dog which she'll need for the rest of her life to help her mobility. He explained that it was very expensive to buy from them. So he prescribed a 6 day course to make sure she didn't experience side effects. Afterwards, I was given a 6 month prescription, which cost ยฃ31, that I can use online saving me a considerable sum of money. Given that veterinary care is notoriously expensive this has helped considerably and I am extremely grateful.

I would just like to thank all of the staff at Crewkerne, that helped my partner Mark and myself last night 17/11/2025 in poor old Sasha's final moments, all of the staff were so kind and compassionate, you certainly helped make her final moments calm and happy, what would we do without caring people like yourselves ๐Ÿ’” Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

We found our semi feral farm cat in the house Sunday night. It appeared that both back legs were paralysed. It did not appear to be in any pain but just could not walk. Monday morning we rang Kingfisher and they gave us an immediate appointment, I would add that we are not registered with them. Brought the cat in and and after a shortish wait saw the vet. She gently examined KC and realised that the cat had a blood clot . And no blood was going to her legs. [I think we already knew this]. The vet gently told us that there was nothing that could be done as KC was at least 15 yrs old, but left the final decision to us. We agreed, of course that it was best for KC to be "put to sleep". We stayed with her until the end. The vet was kind, gentle and absolutely brilliant. The staff at reception, the vet nurse were all very kind. Would definitely recommend the vet practice.
