Lurgan Sheep Vet

Lurgan Sheep Vet is an independent, sheep-only veterinary practice based near Aberfeldy in Perthshire. It provides on-farm veterinary care for sheep flocks across Scotland, covering health planning, parasite control, metabolic profiling, disease investigation, fertility work, OPA scanning, and flock health referrals. A 24-hour emergency service is available.

The practice is run by Ann Van Eetvelt, a mixed-practice veterinarian who also farms a hill holding in Perthshire. She is currently undertaking a part-time PhD at the University of Edinburgh focusing on sustainable lamb production, co-infection, metabolism, and lamb survival. The practice is described as Scotland's only sheep-only veterinary service.
