Just finally getting over the loss of my boy Jasper. Both my dogs (English springers) were registered with Market Hall Vets, both dogs had a good life both living to nearly 15 years old. 15 years of visits to Market Hall for booster jabs, flea and tick treatments, surgery for teeth, spraying and neutering. The one time you need the vet the most, is sadly when it's time for end of life, which sadly for Jasper was last January 2025… Sadly he could no longer stand one morning and we knew it was time. We phoned Market Hall, took him straight in and within 10 minutes of arrival at the practice, he had gone to sleep. A couple of weeks later the bill arrived..£180 for less than 10 minutes, I asked for an itemized bill, which they have failed to provide me with, maybe deep down they themselves couldn't justify it.?? No need to pull people's trousers down like that, when they're feeling their worst..😥😥

Following a move from Pembroke Dock to St Clears 3 years ago, I registered my husky, Solo, with Market Hall Vets. By this point Solo was about 14 years old, so it was important to have a Vet who would do best by Solo in his remaining years. Over the 3 years he has been more than well looked after be the fantastic team, always pleased to see him, giving him lots of fuss and always providing the best care and advice to make his senior years as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He always loved seeing his favourite nurse, Geri (I hope I got her name right). When the end came and we knew his time was up, Joe the vet was absolutely amazing, as he has been every time he's seen Solo. He was professional and very tactful in what is a very delicate and difficult time for any pet owner, he brilliantly explained everything that was about to happen, and offered us plenty of time. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for Solo and for helping give him the best quality of life in his last few years, knowing that he lived a long life to it's fullest, right up to the end, makes losing him slightly more bearable.

Following a diagnosis of a suspected torn cruciate ligament in our dog, we required a referral to a recommended surgery. Repeated phone calls and promises of returned phone calls, which never materialised, has resulted in the surgery unable to progress any treatment as although they eventually received the xrays, they had not received the necessary referral forms. This has taken a week so far and the only conclusion one can determine is that once the bill is submitted (and was immediately paid) the clients concerns are no longer a priority.
