Absolutely a waste of time and money 😞 never see the same vet twice even in the same week take consultancy fee one day say if he's no better go back take another consultation fee give the wrong diagnosis again even tho I mentioned what was the problem! Went to another vets got the right diagnosis and much more care from the vet himself where mere vet shouted at me ! Disgusting place Reception staff are lovely shame about the vets 😕

I cannot recommend this practice enough. Saw my dog when I couldn't get hold of my normal vet. Unfortunately my darling old girl had to be put to sleep and the professional sympathetic and kind approach from all of the staff at the practice will mean I will remember her passing in peace. Their gentleness to our heartbreak will never be forgotten. They are an absolute credit to animal care. Thank you so much to all of the Mere Road Team

I was visiting family in Blackpool and my senior dog became ill on my first night here. I rang the practice first thing and there were able to give me an appt later that morning. Very professional and quick service, bloods done and a scan in record time. Sadly there was nothing to be done for my dog, except euthanasia, which was done with empathy and kindness. We were given time to say goodbye, which was important to us. At all times our poor old boy was treated gently and professionally. Despite the fact that this was not a happy outcome, I was very satisfied with the service this practice provided. There is also a cremation service offered, which we accepted and picked an urn for his ashes. All the staff were super, and I can't thank them enough for their professionalism and support.
