Awful experience, went in with my very poorly cat late Saturday night to be told he would have to stay in till Monday morning and given a estimated bill of £1200 before they even had done any tests to see what was wrong with him. I asked questions about the medication he was put on and why to get as much information as I could so I knew what was happening and was made to feel like I had no right to ask questions about my own cat luckily I did, as by doing this I was able to point my own vet in the right direction regarding his diagnoses when I saw them. All but one, member of staff were very rude including the so called professional vet ( disgraceful attitude) ... as soon as I was allowed to move him to my own vet early Monday morning I did and within two hours he was diagnosed properly and is now on his way to recovery thankfully ... my overall experience with mynight vet was one of a money making machine who basically give you a quote before they even treat your animal and do everything to reach that target why your pet is in their care and they throw in the pleasure of the staff being immensely rude with no empathy. loving pet owners have no choice to use this service as this is the emergency service used out of hours by most barnstaple vets... I am now £1250 lighter for a experience of which i never want to have again and the one star is because I can't give any less

Refused to help my dog on a Sunday when she needed urgent medical attention due to a deep cut on her tail that wouldn't stop bleeding, unless I paid the £150 fee to see her then the further £300 for consultation then further payment for treatment. Clearly money comes before an animals welfare!
