North West Equine Vets' Settle branch, based at Rathmell in the Yorkshire Dales, is the main clinic for this independent RCVS-accredited equine practice and XLVets member. The surgery is purpose-built with full surgical and hospitalisation facilities, serving horses, ponies, and donkeys across the region.

The practice covers lameness investigation, internal medicine, gastroscopy, equine dentistry, stud medicine, and pre-purchase examinations. With clinics also at Lupton in Cumbria and Great Harwood in Lancashire, the group provides coverage across a wide area of northern England with round-the-clock emergency availability.
