We signed up with PP around 2 years ago when I first picked up my dog. Every visit the receptionists were unwelcoming, ignored you to have their own conversations and were point blank rude when they did eventually communicate with you, minority of the time in a sarcastic or patronising tone. I also attempted to change my email address as the one they had on the system was no longer in service and I didn’t have access. It took 3 occasions and still to this day has not been resolved!! I also had similarities when I moved address. They also put another dog onto my account and I was then receiving communications for - this was not my pet!! Recently, I have moved to another vet practice despite PP being walking distance from my house. The service was awful, some of the vets are okay but depends who you get as it isn’t always the same vet. And, with the reception staff being the way they are I didn’t want to step foot back in the practice. I have since been called by the same reception team insisting I owe money. This was for a direct debit I signed up for and asked to be cancelled after the first year as we didn’t make use of it. When it come round they renewed it, even tho I asked for it to be cancelled and gave me no choice and had to continue paying. Recently as I have more practice they are now saying I owe money for the same direct debit as I cancelled early (even after expressing I didn’t want to renew) This information was given to me in one phone call, to which they stated they had sent emails and letter… none of which I had received as they were STILL sending to the wrong addresses!! I have tried on numerous times to speak to a manager but she is never available and there is no way of making contact. I have since received a call where the rude receptionist stated they will be taking the £20 to a debt collection agency if I don’t pay in the next hour. I received my first letter 2 days ago stating I had 7 days to pay! At this point I’m left with no choice but to share my frustration and such negative experiences. I have no issue with paying the £20 - but absolutely want my complaint taken seriously but someone. As the manager doesn’t seem to care!!

I am incredibly grateful to Dr Louise and her team. When my cat Den Den suddenly developed breathing difficulties, Dr Louise acted quickly, made a clear diagnosis, and provided the necessary injection treatment without delay. Her communication was clear, calm, and reassuring throughout. She acknowledged my concerns and handled the situation with confidence and composure, which gave me great confidence in her care. On a stormy evening, having such dedicated care in Milton Keynes was truly a rare and wonderful veterinary experience. Thank you so much!

I have to comment how wonderful this vets have been. We were recommended by a friend and have been so impressed. One of our dogs is a rescue and came to us with such a phobia of vets and any sort of cage/ crate. The vets here have worked so hard with us in building up his confidence- he actually wags his tail when he sees Hannah! We’ve got him to the point he will happily be examined and even had his ears inspected- something in 6 years of having him has been impossible. Whilst Hannah has been off he has needed fairly substantial surgery. We were given an extremely thorough run through of pricing, were completely involved in all decision making, taking his behaviour, fears and ahe into account. There was no ‘upselling’ or bullying us into anything - with the recent media scares this was something we were concerned about; and we had all the time in the world for an in depth discussion. They could not have taken more care of him, he wouldn’t stop crying so a nurse sat with him the whole time! And we were kept up to date and collected him as soon as was safe. When I came to pay the bill I asked the (always lovely) lady on reception if the price was correct as it was less than half the quote! The vet herself came out to explain that the surgery was more straightforward than expected and so didn’t take as long. We had discussed all sorts of ‘extras’ to take into account worse case scenario as of course they don’t know what they will find until they get in there; as such the end bill worked out to be substantially less. Something we would never have been aware of and they could have charged us the quoted price without any quibble from us - we thought it was a good price anyway! We’ve had nothing but fantastic experiences here and with a troubled dog that’s not always the case. Thank you for being so open and honest with pricing and being so caring to both dogs (and, at times, their emotional parents!)
