About

Pinfold Vets is an independent mixed practice based in East Leake, Leicestershire, treating small animals, exotics, equines, and farm livestock. The surgery offers consultations, vaccinations, surgical procedures, and a pet health plan. A branch in Keyworth supplements the main East Leake site.

The practice operates extended weekday hours and weekend opening at the East Leake surgery, providing broader access than many small independents. Its mixed-species remit suits the semi-rural communities around East Leake, covering both companion animals and larger species from the same base.

We recently visited Pinfold Vets and had a really positive experience. The team were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, which immediately put both us and our dog at ease. The vet carried out a very thorough examination and took the time to carefully explain everything they were checking and why. It was reassuring to see how attentive and patient they were, making sure nothing was overlooked. We also really appreciated the clear and practical advice they gave us about how to look after our dog going forward. It felt genuinely helpful rather than rushed, and we left feeling confident about the next steps for our dog's health. Overall, a fantastic service — friendly, professional, and very caring. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pinfold Vets to other pet owners.

I cannot praise this practice highly enough. After another vet completely overlooked the serious signs when my cat Leo was limping, I turned to this team — and thank goodness I did. They acted immediately, recognised the severity of his injury, and operated straight away. The break was so severe that they even said it’s something they rarely see, yet thanks to their quick response and exceptional skill, Leo now has a real chance to walk normally again. I am forever grateful. Only a week later, they took care of my other cat, Mr. Chow, after he ingested toxins. They kept him in for two days to monitor him closely and make sure everything was safely out of his system. The level of care, attention, and genuine compassion they showed was truly remarkable. Rupert, who operated on Leo, is an amazing and incredibly caring vet. His knowledge, dedication, and kindness shine through in everything he does. And I have to mention Chloe, Louise and the receptionists — they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Every time I walk through the door, I feel that my pets are in safe, capable, and loving hands. This practice has earned my complete trust. I wouldn’t take my animals anywhere else. Highly, highly recommended. 🐾💛
