About

Priory Veterinary Practice is an independent, family-run small animal clinic in Stamford, Lincolnshire, founded in 2017 by veterinary surgeon Vicky Lees. The practice name derives from the nearby St Leonards Priory, a 12th-century Benedictine monument. It offers dentistry, surgery, vaccinations, microchipping, laboratory diagnostics and pet health plans.

The clinic features separate dog and cat waiting areas and hospital wards, a fully equipped operating theatre, digital X-ray, ultrasound and on-site laboratory for same-day test results. The practice encourages open visiting for owners to sit with their pets before procedures, and operates a nurse-led advisory service.

I just wanted to express how incredibly impressed I was with the service we received last Saturday during our visit for our cats’ annual vaccinations. From the moment we arrived, the care and professionalism were exceptional. After an accident during the trip, your receptionist went out of her way to clean our cat’s carrier, which we truly appreciated it. Tom was absolutely wonderful. He was gentle and calm with both of our cats, exceptionally kind, and took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. His knowledge and reassuring manner made the entire experience stress-free. This level of care is exactly why we are happy to drive 40 minutes to your practice. Thank you for consistently providing such outstanding service. Sarune & Aarron

Very disappointed with this outfit. Joined on reccomdations from various people. My 7 Year old, Greyhound went in for a 'Dental'. I was advised that 1, or 2 teeth would need extracting. When I rang, they said 11 teeth had been removed, without any prior consultation with me. I know that Greyhounds are notorious for having serious denral issues. But this has left my beautiful Boy, very sad. He cannot use half of his mouth to chew. At the very least, they should have called me, before this was done. I am still considering, taking legal advice and action for malpractice. There are better Vets around.
