  I visited Raoul Dowding vets in Gainsborough for the first time on Tuesday 17th Feb, to have my cats Jinks and JoJo vaccinated. The vet in attendance, Nicole, was very attentive and handled the cats gently and expertly. The other staff with whom I interacted were also pleasant and very helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending Raoul Dowding vets.

  Always highly rated Dowdings, they have some exceptional vets working there. However just had a very poor experience. My husband took our cat in last night with a cyst which had burst. The vet flushed it out but afterwards didn’t give any painkillers or antibiotics. My poor cat is clearly in pain today not moving from his bed or eating. I’ve rung the vet’s and they agreed he should have been given antibiotics and painkillers, so we’re having to take him back today. Thankfully the team have resolved the issue today but really disappointed with the level of care given last night and question the competency of the vet.
