Took my 9 week old puppy to this vet and had the puppy pack which included all injections, microchip and flea/worm treatment as well as insurance. I thought it was a good deal. I paid part of it to cover the costs of the treatment carried out that day. Over the next 36hrs my pup took a turn for the worse, I tried to contact out of hours and didn’t get through so rushed my baby to another vets and ended up with a £2000 bill, the insurance I wasn’t able to use as it wasn’t at a Severn edge practice. Then the kick in the teeth was my puppy ended up dead from parvo, was told this could have been down to an overdose administered by the vets as parvo is a live vaccine. It was then followed up with calls and letters requesting payment for the treatment that hadn’t taken place due to the passing. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard of pups being killed this way, so be warned money is their priority, the animals health comes after.
