My dog struggled a lot with anxiety, which manifested itself in avoidance, destructive and reactive behaviour. I was told by countless people that this behaviour is to be expected of a rescue dog, and it will likely not change. I tried training with a dog trainer, natural supplements, but didn't see the change I was looking for, but tried not to lose hope. I then took my dog to the vet, who then referred me onto Joao (The Mind Vet) for behaviourist sessions. Straight away, Joao was reassuring, knowledgeable, and asked all the right questions. After getting to know my dogs needs and presentation, we agreed to start him on Reconcile. Four months later, I'm so proud of the progress he has made! The changes I was once told was impossible, are now happening. Joao has been a great communicator, and was very supportive throughout the whole process. I am very glad I took this step, and I cannot recommend Joao enough.

Was referred to JT ( The Mind Vet) by my local vet after we lost one of our two Lhasa's. The eldest one called Billy. It was a sudden and quick passing and a massive shock to us all to say the least. Hugo and Billy were inseparable despite Hugo only being 2 years in age. Billy was all he knew. Billy would clean Hugo's eyes and ears and Hugo would follow Billy around like a shadow and always sleep next to him. So when we lost Billy Hugo was utterly distraught and devastated. He wouldn't eat, play and would just whine looking for Billy. It was heartbreaking. This got worse. He went into a complete depressive state. I was at my wits end when we saw JT he explained everything so clearly. What Hugo was feeling , and how we were going to tackle it. He was absolutely fantastic. I admit I was sceptical. But I kept an open mind and followed everything he said. His rates are extremely reasonable. And I could claim it all back from my insurance anyway. Fast forward to now. I have a happy bouncy Hugo again! Eating me out of house and home!I owe it all to JT and his wonderful meetings and work. I am forever in his debt for giving me back my boy. If your in any doubt if this is mumbo jumbo it's not. It really works!! And what's more your told exactly what the problem is and how it can be fixed. Thank you JT!! From Hugo x

So after rescuing our GSD X just before lockdown hit we were massively aware when lockdown ended our boy Loki had severe anxiety and reactive tendencies to other dogs. After consultation and treatment from JT Loki has moved on massively we now in the position where he will listen and respond to us and we are able to diffuse the situation and calm him. Loki now even has doggy friends. Such a massive change from where we started. Forever grateful. We can’t recommend JT enough he’s been totally amazing and is always on hand to provide additional support if needed. Many thanks JT Sharon, Mark and Loki
