I have been going to AAS since 1989 with my various Springer spaniels. I can honestly say, I've never been dissatisfied until January '20, when the vet treating my Springer with Pemphigus disease, offered to put him to sleep. I had to have her repeat what she said, I thought I was going mad! She repeated her statement and I promptly told her to ******* Luckily, the vet in question has now left. Nicki took over looking after both my boys. She is just amazing and has managed to treat my one Springer who has pemphigus disease back to an amazing quality of health. His medication and blood tests were costing approx. £800 pm at his early stage of diagnosis by Vet Referals in Dursley. Nicki has worked her superb knowledge, love and care and now Harry is verbally off all his medication and a happy boy. I'm totally ' over the moon' with all her very genuine love and care. Nicki also examined my other Springer, Jack, the end of November '21, he had a continual bad ear. She instantly saw right down into the ear that something was very concerning. She had him in and an anaesthetic to investigate. The problem was very upsetting and terribly worrying. Jack was referred to a top specialist at Vale Referrals by Nicki. Unfortunately, Jack had to undergo an urgent operation to remove his total ear canal. He now has no entry to his ear at all and all stitched up. I was devasted initially, but, I would have lost my little boy otherwise. Once again, this was all due to Nicki's wealth of experience in being a super, knowledgeable vet for many years. Without her these past few years, I would have lost both my boys by now. As it is, they are such happy and healthy boys and love going to see her. Nicki always welcomes them and genuinely shows them love and affection. All the nurses too are amazing and go that extra mile to help over the phone if they can. I'm very happy with AAS vets and would deffinate recommend anyone to go here. You always get the personal touch and genuine care here, rather than being just 'another'pet at those big veterinary practice's. My megga-huge thanks to Nicki and her team, for all their continued love and support towards me and my boys. Especially through some very upsetting times. Thankyou everyone. Xxx
