About

Vets for Pets Aylesbury is a Vets4Pets branch treating small animals, exotics, equines, and farm livestock. The clinic offers behaviour consultations, cardiology, orthopaedics, dentistry, endoscopy, diagnostic imaging, and in-house laboratory testing.

Grooming, nurse-led clinics, microchipping, and nutritional advice are available alongside emergency cover. A pet health plan helps manage the cost of routine vaccinations and check-ups. The practice also handles farm animal work and provides care for a range of exotic species.

A mixed review. The staff are lovely & accommodating. However, we experienced a huge disparity on costings (in this case a tooth extraction). We were quoted 1253 GBP initially and everything on the quote was deemed necessary for the procedure. They added things like a light scale and polish for 498.98 (which was apparently mandatory) to remove a broken tooth. When we said we would look to go elsewhere, this was suddenly not required and a second revised quote was 450 from VFP - Aylesbury. Very disappointing as in principle we really like and appreciate the care our dogs get at VFP and they were always quick to see the dogs when the need arose.

They gatekeep prescriptions, charged me way more than the average then refused to give me the prescription telling me it's policy because they've "had problems". No mention of this before taking my money and refused to refund me. All the places you order the drugs from cheaper require you to send the prescription with the order. In the end I had to send the supplier to contact them, it took weeks. They affectively conned me then inserted themselves into a transaction that was none of their business and extended the time until my dog could get his treatment all because I didn't want to pay a 300% markup on the meds they supply.

Just wanted to thank the lovely vet we saw this morning for my dogs booster vaccinations. My dog has had a few bad experiences at the vets and has become fearful of them, I have to sedate him and muzzle him just so the vet can examine him . Today was great no muzzle, just covered his eyes and it was all done. Thank you so much .
