I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent care my cat received at Vets for Pets Cardiff. Within the past month, we have spent over £2,000 on oral surgeries for our cat. Following the most recent procedure, we noticed that the area on our cat’s leg — which had been shaved for a drip — had been shaved so closely that the skin was left raw and sore.
When we returned to the practice to address this issue, we were told that we need to buy a cream to treat the sore at a cost of £32 despite it being caused by the clinic’s own actions. We provided photos and videos as evidence, but unfortunately, the team declined to take responsibility. I have photos of the sore the same day as the surgery took place however we were told the cat had caused the sore yet you can clearly see the raw skin in the photos.
