Today been with my Jack russell (drama queen) :D in Vets for pets, Castleford. The best experience from nurse, Catherine, so patience and kind. And reception same! Will come back soon here. Thank you team!

The receptionist is unaware of why someone is back in the waiting room despite having had the consultation and being the only person there. Shouting across the clinic are you waiting to pay as I didn’t know you were waiting to pay. I was the only person in the practice and I’m sure as other vets do they sends notes thru to reception so they can charge you accordingly. Surely this is part of your client care to know why they are sat there. So in that case instead of leaving me sat there why not ask me straight away! Not only that when my little dog was put to sleep a little while ago now the same receptionist was on shift it was very loud in the reception area clearly not taking into account someone was saying goodbye to their beloved pet it’s very echoey in their so I have recently suggested leaving battery operated candles which I was told they do have them but only bring them out when they know that’s what’s happening so why not keep them out all the time would make more sense with a little sign when the candles are lit stating someone is saying goodbye and to be respectful of that and keep noise to a minimum. The same receptionist is also very rude and unhelpful when speaking on the phone. Sorry vets 4 pets I think this practice is disappointing. Customers should feel valued.

I would never take your pet to this vets i took my old cat to them and paid for constation and he or she didn't check my cat out properly as they missed she had 2 bad teeth and sore gums and told me she had a stroke or cancer which was gonna cost me £150 fir blood tests shes didn't need i took her to pdsa and they checked her over and all she needed was a injection and some solutions to help her gets some food and liquid in her and they sent her away knowing how poorly she was but thanks the pdsa they av gave me what she needed and she's getting back to her normal self already so I will be procucuting as iv been given the laws that all vets av and one is to never send a sick animal home they av a duty of care to the animal so please don't go there all they want is your money not the animals well fare pdsa are sorting all complaints out for me as they got it all up on their computers what was found which wasn't the truth and not treating a sick animal that could of died
