Had an emergency out of hours vet appointment that cost £360. Firstly, the online phone line was very efficient and effective - they reminded us to bring a credit card to pay the £360 appointment fee. Then on arrival the door opened, the girls on reception greeted us very well. We then wait approx 30-40mins from about 10:30pm-11pmish and then seen by Carla I believe it was, she was fantastic. Best vet I’ve dealt with in years. I would have paid £360 just to directly deal with her - she gave the best care, very thorough, explained what she was doing and why. Reassured us a then gave us direction and a plan for after care. Only disappointment was listening to the reception girls chat rubbish for 30-40mins about their weekend plans quite loudly. If they wanted to do that, they should either be quieter or go out the back. Just let down the whole professional approach.

This review is very raw, vets now were amazing, helpful and compassionate. The nurse Anna was an earth angel who will live forever in my memory for everything she did to help my sweet Bramble. Despite everything Anna and the amazing vet did, unfortunately my sweet baby girl passed over the rainbow bridge. I will be forever thankful for everything they did to help her. What hurts the most is she was only two and should have had so many more years and how sudden it all was.

Not a good experience and it felt like the vet wanted to get as much money as possible. He said he over quoted on the first quote saying he added 20% by mistake? When asked about individual prices he said i could get an itemised bill at the end. Knowing the price before hand would ensure a more informed decision on the treatment. Charging 197 pounds for a blood test which I don’t think was needed is a bitter pill to swallow and even harder on top of the 500 pounds already charged. The whole experience felt pushy and money oriented and not focused on what was best for my dog.
