We are so happy to have found a local independent vet practice! The easy parking, spacious layout of the reception area and thoughtful quiet cat waiting area with blankets to use for nervous cats, is indicative of what a thoughtful and caring practice this is. My kitten Tiggi has had 3 visits so far, 2 with a vet and her first nurse check-up. All very informative, kind and caring. After the experience of treatment from larger group practices, I’m so grateful that my kitten will be looked after by the Waterside vet team for the rest of her life. Thanks guys.

I really didn't want to have to do this but this place has left me no choice. I have a very nervous dog named Rolo who refuses to be groomed an he is a long haired dog so gets very matted once a year he has to be sedated and have his hair cut its either that or he would be put down. Waterside vets had done this service before for rolo amd did a good job but this year im afraid to report the service was absolutely appalling. To start with i got no invoice in advance so had zero clue how much to pay even after asking for one to be told on the day when he is about to have the procedure it will up 100 pounds more from last year, which I excepted as I was backed into a corner and the dog needed doing if told in advance I would have contacted a different vets. 280 pound they wanted for this service which is beyond ridiculous. Anyway on return rolo was ina room with other dogs in cages yet the year before he was kept in a room on his own due to his nervousness even told to bring him in early so he doesn't have to interact with other dogs this time none of that happened. The hair cut they gave him even though I understand they are not a salon was appalling he still had mats!!! Now I can understand the odd one deep in his hair missed but this was right on his wrist on his leg a huge clump just left and this wasn't the only one but it was the highly obvious one i see as soon as walked in which I complained about and latter comolained about again when I sent in pictures. I was told that's not a matt its a clump we could run a comb through it which they definitely could not and is the most pathetic excuse, they didn't offer to correct it and after 2 years of rolo at the surgery l said if its not put right we are gone which they basically said ok good bye so we left refusing to pay the remainder for an unfinished job. I mean if they was having a brick wall put up at the surgery and the bricky just didn't bother with a load of the wall and left it unfinished said is nothing wrong with it would they pay I think not but yet they are now sending me threatening letters and talking about debt collectors if I don't pay. I am also on disability benefits with quite serious mental health issues which does not seem to bother them on how all this stress has effected me. I will be seeking legal advice and hoping for some form of compensation from this surgery for all the problems they have caused this kind of practice must be flagged and I would urge others to not use this place anymore. They used to be really good I even recommended them to others who have also had issues with them
