  Abivale in Abingdon were excellent with our dog. The team there were extremely friendly and we were made to feel at ease. They were very professional and compassionate.

  I mainly use Abivale for out of hours emergency as it’s not the closest to me but they are great. Been there a number of times and staff are very friendly and helpful. I’ve also called at 1am worried about my cat and spoke to them for 20 minutes and they gave honest advice and helped without recommending that I need to come in. Just great service!

  I raised concerns about Abivale, and unfortunately, the response has been deeply disappointing. Abivale has shown no remorse or genuine apology. My pet and I endured a distressing and negligent experience at their Abingdon branch. The level of incompetence, unprofessional behaviour at reception, and substandard veterinary care were alarming. Most shockingly, my pet was mis weighed by 40%—a mistake the management dismissed as normal. I am both appalled and frightened. During one of the most difficult periods of my life, this clinic only heightened my anxiety. Their lack of empathy and unacceptable standards make it a place I cannot recommend. Please avoid. Look at reviews carefully and also visit their Facebook page - the picture there is realistic.
