About

Black Sheep Vets in Louth, Lincolnshire, is an independent, family-run small animal practice. It treats companion animals and provides nurse clinics, behavioural support, and a pet health plan for routine preventative care.

The practice offers keyhole bitch spays as a surgical option, which involve smaller wounds, reduced post-operative pain, fewer wound infections, and shorter recovery times compared to conventional surgery. It remains independently owned rather than part of a corporate veterinary group.

Black sheep Vets team went above and beyond when I had to have an emergency visit with my pooch who sadly died before we arrived there. They gave me time with her and they were very supportive x x I can’t thank them enough as it’s the hardest day of my life.

I had to take my little baby puppy to the emergency vet here. Unfortunately he didn't make it. The aftercare I have received has been amazing. I chose to have my puppy cremated. I received 2 phone calls during the week explaining everything to me. I went to collect my puppy's cremains today. Right from the moment I took him to the moment I collected him everyone I met in the practice was caring and friendly. Thank you for everything. I would also like to say this is the cleanest veterinary practice I have ever been in.

I go here for my Rats. The vet I see is fantastic! She actually takes the time to talk and explain everything instead of just dishing out medication I don't understand. She is very carful when handling them. And it's good to see a vet who actually seems to care about my pets and not just the money! So far whenever I go in the people checking me in have been lovely and very friendly! I recommend! Especially to those with rodents struggling to find a vets office that caters to their fur babies! 🐀
