I’ve been donating and buying from this shop for many years, Pete who runs the shop is great. My mother recently got moved into a care home and I needed help to rehome her cat. Pete gave me two numbers to call, Nicky and Janet. I rang and left messages for both. Janet never responded, and then I was texting Nicky. Nicky was very unhelpful and obviously doesn’t care about cats. Basically unless the cat is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all the vaccinations, ‘cats in care’ won’t help you. This is not a charity to help cats, this is nothing more than a money making business that charges an adoption fee for a cat, that they have not had to spend one penny on to obtain, I will never use this shop again! Because they don’t help cats unless they’re making money!

I had a stray in my shed and needed it gone as It wasn't getting along with my own cats. I tried multiple rescues and none had space, so I called here and never have I been messed around so much. Not answering any questions or being helpful at all. They were horrible at communicating, they asked me to WhatsApp them, to which they never responded, so I called again and got told to WhatsApp them again, and this happened multiple times, and eventually they responded, but weren't answering any questions such as where to take the cat and what will happen to it. Overall, a horrible experience and horrible people, I don't recommend.
