About

Drumrainey Veterinary Surgery is an independent mixed animal practice in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland, established in 1949. The practice covers cattle, sheep, horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, exotics and poultry, providing round-the-clock care including an out-of-hours service.

As one of the few remaining independent veterinary clinics in Northern Ireland, Drumrainey has served the Magherafelt community for over seventy years. The practice relocated from the Castledawson Road to its current Glenmaquill Road premises in 1970 and has invested in on-site laboratory diagnostics.

Really good practice and really lovely people!! I had vet Judith look at my dog after he was sick and she helped him so much!! So thankful for her and the team for looking after him.

Been going here years. My cats had a test and the records only show the test was done and not the result. Causing another test to be done at another surgery. Contacted them about this and have had no response. Disappointing as I have spent hundreds at this surgery
