  I was referred to Fourpaws with my cocker spaniel Effie in October 2024 after she was diagnosed with hip laxity in both hips. Effie wasn’t well at all, clearly in pain and not herself. She was on pain medication and at 4 years old we were keen to reduce this. We met Sophie and Effie immediately loved her. Sophie is very understanding of Effie’s timid nature and they clearly share a lovely bond now. Sophie is professional, very knowledgable and we trust her expertise immensely. After several sessions Effie is now no longer taking ANY medication and is fit and well. We had previously climbed mountains with Effie and was unsure if we’d be able to do this in the future but we have just returned from wales having climbed snowdon. She managed it brilliantly with no adverse side effects. Sophie has given us clear guidance for maintaining and monitoring Effie and we will continue to visit Sophie at snettisham monthly forever. Thank you Sophie, Effie adores you 🩷
