I took my dog here, after 3 visits and at least 3 different diagnosis and almost £1500 she was worse. It went from stomach problems, calcified bones ( that they said needed an £8000 MRI and a £10000 operation ) to kidney disease and other diseases I didn't understand. I left her in one morning shaking in agony, they took bloods, had her on a drip then phoned asking permission to do an ultrasound scan as she had high red blood cells and it could be kidney disease... turns out all greyhounds have high red blood cells counts that is exaggerated by stress ( she was at the vets on her own ) and dehydration ( she was panting all day ). I said no, they said ok your bill so far is £300, I said I'd call and collect her but when I got there the bill was now £530, when I asked why they said she needed another drip as she was very stressed and dehydrated... after being told by the receptionist how good she had been and getting plenty of rest. After all this took her to glengormley vets who told me she has age related bone issues in her neck that needs nothing more than pain relief, which was half the price of them than glenburn, and she's been fine ever since... Places like this should be closed, it's no wonder the government are trying to intervene and investigative documentaries are being made about their shady practices.
