Would highly recommend this vets, took my dog in to have an op this morning, and they were amazing, kept me updated with everything & when I went to collect him they were lovely all the staff & receptionist’s made you feel comfortable and could even have a laugh with them. Genuinely lovely people, reasonable prices which is great. Care about the animals & not just profit. Teddy says thank you for looking after him 🐾

On Tuesday 28th January 2025 at 10.30am we said goodbye to our much loved cocker spaniel at home. We were left no other option after the failures in her care. This is my opinion and experience of this vets clinic. Our dog had a medical condition that had beenwell managed for nearly 5 years. A care plan was in place and this was sent by our previous vet for Hetty to follow so our dog recieved the right treatment when needed. This never happened. Suddenly her abdomen enlarged and her weight increased rapidly. Hetty accussed us of over feeding her. This was untrue. We had to follow a strict feeding plan at all times. A blood test showed a liver issue and we trusted Hetty when she recommended a liver support supplement to help. Our dogs condition worsened. We went straight back to Hetty. We stated the medication was making our dog worse. We were met with an angry response. I knew our dog was suffering. Hetty examined our dog and stated there was no problems with her organs. Our dog cried out in pain which she ignored. I become upset and pleaded with her to help. Finally a blood test was done. 20 minutes later we were told our dog was in organ failure and she was going to die. The weight gain and enlarged abdomen was from her liver and kidneys failing. Her decline was massive and very noticeable in a short space of time. No vet should have missed this in my opinion. Hetty did not euthanize our dog. Instead we were sent home with the contact details for a mobile vet. Neither did Hetty give our dog any pain meds to ease her suffering, she did nothing at all. Our dog was not allowed a peaceful end to her life. We knew that one day we would have to say goodbye to our dog, but not like this. She deserved better. We deserved better. I would never recommend this vet to anyone. I can not bring our much loved pet back and I can not change what has happened but if I can stop this happening to another animal I hope this review is the one that helps someone make the right decision when looking for a vets.

I took my Munsterlander to Hetty for Acupuncture for 9 months and the improvement was amazing. I am extremely grateful for the care and expertise give her. All the staff were brilliant and really helpful.
