Isle of Wight Emergency Vet

Isle of Wight Emergency Vets is an out-of-hours emergency practice in Newport, part of the CVS Group. It provides emergency surgical, imaging, and laboratory services for small animals, equines, and farm livestock outside normal practice hours.

Launched in 2020, the service was established to provide structured out-of-hours cover for clients of Pet Doctors and Medina Veterinary Group on the Isle of Wight. It operates as an extension of daytime primary care, with its own veterinary and nursing teams working overnight and at weekends. This structure allows the associated daytime practices to maintain continuity through a shared emergency resource.
