Can't trust South Lincs Vets/Marshlands Vets after my experience. Took my dog in for a check up as he'd been sick over the weekend, as soon as we arrived, a nurse/vet was shocked my a 'lump' they saw on the side of my dog. I couldn't see or feel a lump, but agreed to have an ultrasound. A few hours later, the practice called to explain they had found a mass and couldn't provide any further investigation or care. All that could be offered was end of life treatment. Upon collecting my dog, there was no vet to talk to, no results to see and no care to be given. Very strange for end of life diagnosis. I took my dog for a second opinion. They explained that an ultrasound need to be booked in and the animal shouldn't have anything to eat 12 hour prior. The ultrasound and blood work came back clear. Nothing. I was provided with digital and hardcopies. The second vet requested the animals records and test results showing the mass/tumour. They were never provided. I reached out, after a week of waiting, to be sent my dogs full medical report via email. My dogs medical record was incorrect. Stating the incorrect sex and fertility. When Marshlands was questioned about this, they apologised and brushed it off, pressuring me to come in for another ultrasound at a practice further away. I was told I should take the free scan appointment and I’m a poor owner to not take him in. I explained how I don’t want to put him through another investigation to cover the vets back, the original results should be accessible, especially due to the severity of the diagnosis. To date, no one from this practice has apologised, offered any solution, or refund - nothing. We spent over £2k between the two vets, all because Marshlands can't keep their records organised and provide care within their service. I hope no one goes through the hell we went through with Marshlands.
