I've been with Medivet for some years, and have always found the vets both caring and competent. I switched from my previous practice because although the vet there was competent, he over-prescribed medication and was too rough with handling my cat, including abruptly - and unnecessarily -thrusting a thermometer up her. In contrast, the Medivet vets have always been gentle and sensitive with the cats, and they have taken time to consider, discuss and explain the ailments and treatments. Not sure about the costs, which always seem expensive, but maybe all vets are. Don't know how to compare costs.

I've been with Medivet for several years, and have always had excellent service. The vets are competent, conscientiously careful in making their assessment and diagnosis, and they are gentle with the animals. They are caring, and my cats, which get rather stressed by their journey in the car, have felt calmed and reassured by the vet's kindly handling of them when they get there. The vets take care to explain any medical issues and to give me the options of what to do.

Receptionists are accommodating and responsive to scheduling appointments and dispersing needed medications; vets have always been extremely thorough and informative with their checks, while being caring, and loving with their handling of my pup (along with their constant smiles and friendly personalities, the staff always make my dog feel like she's visiting friends at Medivet Finchley)
