We were quoted over £ 1,200 for dental work for my cat (including multiple tooth extractions). We went to another vet who charged £ 250 and said he didn’t need any extractions - over a year later and his teeth are still fine so clearly he didn’t need extractions. I’m so glad we didn’t pay so much money for my cat to have to go through a painful and traumatic unnecessary procedure. I don’t know how the vets can justify the insane costs here plus upselling of unnecessary expensive items (with a huge mark up). Save your money and take your pets elsewhere!

I honestly don’t have enough words to express how thankful I am for the incredible team at Medivet-Southfields. We went through one of the most difficult experiences with our dog, and thanks to the skill, dedication, and compassion of Dr. Rui Laurenco and his amazing staff, she is not only still with us — she’s walking on all four legs again. Their care during that critical time was nothing short of life-saving. They never gave up on her, and it’s clear they treat every animal with the same love and attention they’d give their own. I truly believe that without them, she wouldn’t be here today. Even now, during her routine check-ups and vaccinations, they continue to be just as attentive, kind, and thorough. It’s such a comfort to know she’s in good hands, whether it’s an emergency or just a wellness visit. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you've done — and continue to do — for our girl. We’re so lucky to have you as our vet!
