I can’t thank Dr. Sarah Douglas and the team at River Pets Ponteland enough for transforming my Vizsla Bellamy’s life. After years of painful ear problems and infections, Dr. Douglass finally got to the root of the issue with such care, patience and expertise. The reception team have also been wonderful and understanding, allowing Bellamy (who is very nervous around other dogs) to visit when no other dogs were in reception. Amazing care, I am so grateful. Thank you.

First time I used River Vet was a night time emergency that resulted in an op. Call handlers were warm and attentive.Receptionist’s are empathetic and thoughtful. Saw a vet promptly and super informative, decisive and caring. Very grateful to them to still have my dog.

Heartfelt Thanks to the Team at River Vets I’m writing this review with the deepest gratitude and the highest commendation I can give—every single member of the team at River Vets truly deserves recognition. Each one of you has shown immense compassion and understanding throughout Teddy’s care, and it’s clear you knew how much he meant to me and my family. The love, attention, and professionalism you gave—especially during the most difficult final days—was nothing short of exceptional. We were always treated with kindness and dignity. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for the years of dedicated care you provided to Teddy. Your support made an unimaginable time that little bit more bearable, and I will never forget that. On Monday, Teddy will be reunited with his Daddy—both together now, at peace. With heartfelt thanks,
