My cat Sammy is 9 months old. My vet recommended see the eye clinic after eye drops were not working. He had problems for 3 months. The problem was immediately recognised and he had surgery just 2 days later. I’m so relieved to see him back to normal , playing with my other cats. He recovered quickly and the eye clinic was available to answer any questions day or night. My boy is now back to his usual self.

A Decade of Exceptional Care: I first met Dr. Francesca nine years ago at the Newmarket Animal Health Trust when my one-year-old Persian cat developed a rapid, aggressive corneal ulcer. What started as a seemingly minor issue quickly became a dramatic and complex medical crisis that was resistant to standard veterinary treatment. We later discovered the ulcer was exacerbated by an underlying Feline Herpesvirus (FHV-1) —a common but notoriously difficult condition to manage in Persians. At a time when the situation looked dire, Dr. Francesca stepped in with high-level, specialized care. Thanks to her incredible technical skill and deep understanding of brachycephalic ocular challenges, she successfully saved my cat’s vision without the need for invasive laser treatment or eye removal. Over the last nine years, through various minor episodes and follow-ups, Dr. Francesca has remained our trusted specialist. What truly sets her apart is her extraordinary dedication. She provides: • 24/7 Accessibility: She was available for concerns around the clock, providing invaluable peace of mind during the most stressful moments of treatment. • Superior Communication: She is patient, meticulous in her explanations, and ensures you understand every option available. • A Personal Touch: Her bedside manner is second to none; she truly goes the extra mile to ensure a successful outcome for every case. Dr. Francesca is a rare find—a specialist who combines world-class medical knowledge with genuine compassion. If you are looking for the absolute best in veterinary ophthalmology, look no further."
