The vets are friendly and know what they are doing but which out for the pricing, I have the complete care package and that gets me 2 free consultations, on of the I used as my dog had a nasty cyst on her back, th vet look at her and said she just needed to squeeze it she took her in the back for around 2 minutes and changed me £40 she did no mention that that would not be included in the consultation I had paid for, I would have donut myself if I'd known. Then we wanted some medication to keep her calm in the car for long journeys, they wanted £40 for the tables online they cost me £2.50 that is a mark up of 1500%. I would recommend not getting the meds from them, they do change £28 just for the prescription and she didn't even see the dog.

I called on a Saturday afternoon to politely and hopefully enquire if there were any appointment slots available; after discovering my dog had an ear wound. Because it is the weekend many clinics are closed. I (logically and reasonably) asked if my pets records were available given that I am registered at a nearby Vets For Pets, and pay for the Complete Care Plan for two dogs. Vets for Pets uses a centralised website and app for members, and as such thought it was worthy of understanding the application of this. The employee explained that the Vet for Pets clinics have no relation to each other. I appreciate the clarification, and I also believe that making genuine enquiries such as this should be basic customer care and received by staff as non-controversial. Unfortunately the engagement from the employee who answered the phone was abrupt, dismissive and the tone impressively lacking any empathy or respect. She spoke to me as though I'd asked something deeply ridiculous and insane, rather than what could be considered a basic question from a paying customer; and then offered no alternative suggestions for care or support for my injured pet. Dismissive and hostile. I am always puzzled when critical customer touchpoint roles are filled by people who lack basic human engagement skills. A great opportunity presents itself for training and development for this staff member; hoping she gets the support she needs. Animal lovers are some of the best humans I've met; anyone who works in a vet clinic and expresses zero interest in discussing an animal in distress is not a good match.

We took our dog to Vets 4 Pets on September 5th 2025. She was suffering weakness and pain in her hind legs. Our dog was given an injection of a drug called LIBRELA. Only 12 days later, we had to have our dog put to sleep as she was no longer able to stand or walk. On their own website, the manufacturers of the drug state that the vet should "always provide and review the Client Information Sheet with the dog owner prior to each injection of LIBRELA. Advise owners of the adverse reactions that may occur following the administration of LIBRELA including balance problems, trouble walking, weakness, trouble standing..." These are all the adverse reactions that my dog suffered, and the vet at Vets 4 Pets mentioned NONE OF THEM. NOT A SINGLE ONE. We were not provided with a client information sheet to review. There was no mention of any potential side effects before the drug was administered. I would urge anyone thinking about taking their pet to Vets 4 Pets to seriously reconsider their decision. And if you are offered LIBRELA by any vet, please make sure that you've been informed about the potential side effects before giving your consent.
