Village Vet – A Disappointing Experience On my first visit to the clinic to book an appointment, the lady at the reception looked at me as if questioning why I was there the moment I walked in. When I asked for some information, I was met with a very cold and unfriendly tone. At the time, I didn’t think too much of it and assumed she might just be having a bad day. On the day of the appointment, there was a different person at reception who was quite polite and chatty. She processed the procedures in the system. As my kitten was only 8 weeks old, the necessary internal and external parasite treatments and the required vaccinations were administered. However, no appointment date was given for the very important second dose vaccination, despite the fact that payment was taken immediately. During the consultation, while I was trying to ask the vet questions, I found it particularly uncomfortable that the vet kept explaining their monthly subscription system instead. I had specifically requested nail trimming when I first booked the appointment, but apart from the vaccinations, no other procedures were carried out. In short, if you truly care about and value your pets’ health, I would strongly recommend staying away from this clinic. They are far from professional. I had to urgently find another vet for my kitten’s second vaccination and had it done elsewhere. What was even more upsetting was their response instead of trying to make up for their mistake: “All the vaccinations will have to be repeated.” This left me with the clear impression that their priority is not animal health, but the money they make. Unfortunately, it was a very bad experience.

I’ve been bringing my Pomeranian, Bruna, here since she was a puppy and the care has always been outstanding. Kerri-ann is absolutely brilliant calm, reassuring and genuinely caring with both Bruna and me. The clinic is spotless, the staff are welcoming, and you can really tell they love the animals.
